St James's is our royal district of parks, palaces and processional routes for state occasions. It's also the home of high-end fashion and retailing. St James's Street boasts a number of shops with "Royal Warrants", a sign of patronage by the Royal Family. Beau Brummell, the Georgian fashion "influencer", also patronised outlets here and on Jermyn Street. A number of these establishments also supplied bespoke items to agent 007 in the James Bond books by Ian Flemming.
